Nature & Adventure Tours

Bali is a great destination for adventure, with scenic landscapes, magnificent mountains, volcanoes, lakes and lush forests.

Kintamani and Mount Batur

Kintamani is a 2 hour scenic drive from the resort towns of south Bali. On your way, stop over at Batubulan - an artisan village famous for its stone carving and ornate temples. Catch a Barong dance performance before you head further down the road to Mas, known for its intricate woodcarving craftwork. A little distance ahead is Goa Gajah, the 11th century Elephant Cave. See the Tirta Empul or Holy Spring Water Temple at Tampak Siring in central Bali. At Kintamani, get gorgeous views of Balinese countryside and the Mount Batur active volcano. You can hike up Mount Batur for stunning panoramic views of the area and Lake Batur. Sunrise treks are especially rewarding. The crater is holy and a sanctuary at the top is dedicated to a fertility goddess. If you are feeling adventurous, you can try a bike ride downhill. The villages in Kintamani have paddy fields which you can explore with a guide. On your return journey, you can stop by at Ubud – the “Creative Heart of the Island” which invites people to Eat, Pray, Love, and Celuk – known for its silver and gold creations.

Bali Bird Park

The Bali Bird Park has tropical birds from all the world over. From South American Macaws and Toucans, African Grey Parrots and Laughing Kookaburas to Javan Hawks and Bali Starlings, meet them all in specially recreated habitats with indigenous plant life.

Rice Field Trekking

Tegalalang’s lush paddy terraces are one of Bali’s most famous sights, stretching for miles along perfectly stepped-out slopes. With bamboo huts and palm-lined avenues, it presents a pretty picture of rural Balinese farms.
