Howick Historical Village is a re-creation of a New Zealand Victorian settlement of the colonial times where 2500 fencibles and their families lived in the 19th century.
Howick Historical Village is a re-creation of a New Zealand Victorian settlement of the colonial times where 2500 fencibles and their families lived in the 19th century. The living history museum has actors in costume enacting scenes from the daily lives of the fencibles. Also on display are period furniture, paintings, garments, photographs and memorabilia.
