Macy's Great Tree on Lenox Square has been a part of Atlanta's holiday tradition since 1948, all decked up with 45,000 sparkling lights for the season. The 56 feet tall Christmas tree has been an artificial one since 2013, but the ones used earlier were Georgian white pines.
