Burns Cottage is a replica of poet Robert Burns' birthplace in in Alloway (Ayrshire, Scotland), and is home to the Burns Club of Atlanta. The single storey granite structure with asbestos-shingle gabled roof is the only re-creation in the world of the original cottage, which was built of mortar and rubble. As a traditional Scottish cottage, it is divided into 4 areas - butt, ben, barn, and byre. The ben displays memorabilia, and the byre is the club's meeting room. It is not open to public.
