The ''Friedensengel'' monument marks the entrance of the Bogenhausen neighborhood at the Isar. The statue on top of 44 m high structure depicts ''Nike'', the Greek goddess of victory. The monument, which is located within the ''Maximiliananlagen'' park, is accompanied by a fountain and a small temple.
