Oktoberfest is the world’s largest Volksfest (beer festival in Germany), held in Munich over two and a half weeks till the first Sunday in October or 3rd October, whichever is later. The 14 large tents and 20 small tents in Wiesn near the city centre serve beer from the 6 breweries of Munich exclusively, with over 7 million litres of beer consumed over the period.

Free-flowing beer, an array of traditional Bavarian delicacies, live bands, colorful costumes, carnival rides and dancing make it an unforgettable experience. Take a tour to discover the beer culture in Munich, visit the best beer gardens and Brauhaus (beer halls) around town, sample the delightful brews, partake of the mouthwatering sausages and participate in the festivities of Oktoberfest.
