VDNKh Exhibition

The Russian acronym VDNKh (Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva) stands for 'Exhibition of the People's Economic Achievements'. It is also known as VVC (Vserossiyskiy Vystavochny Centr) or 'All-Russian Exhibition Center'. Once an exhibition on the culture and advancement of the USSR, it is today largely a trade show and amusement park. However, you can still find remnants of the Soviet era, including fountains such as Friendship of Peoples of the USSR and Golden Spike, sculptures such as Worker and Kolkhoz Woman, Stone Flower, and pavilions dedicated to specific areas such as space, culture and atomic energy. Bicycles and rollerskates are available on rent.
