The Block Arcade is a heritage shopping arcade in Melbourne's CBD that takes you back in time to the 19th century. Constructed in 1891-'93, it has a Victorian Mannerist style façade and rich interiors featuring mosaic tile flooring, glass roof, and ornately carved wrought-iron work. It is home to boutiques and cafes such as the Hopetoun Tea Rooms, French Jewel Bo, Haigh's Chocolates, and The Charles Dickens Tavern.
