The Parish Church of the Sacred Heart of Lourdes contains the baptismal font where Saint Bernadette was baptized, and furniture of the demolished Saint-Pierre Church where she prayed. The Romanesque Revival style building has a bell-tower at the entrance, below which are statues of shepherds and shepherdesses who became saints. A bronze statue of Abbot Peyramale, priest of Lourdes at the time of the apparitions of Mary, stands outside. The crypt houses the white marble tomb of the Abbot.
