The Hollywood Walk of Fame consists of a series of 5-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalk to commemorate famous movie, radio, theatre, and TV personalities.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame consists of a series of 5-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalk to commemorate famous movie, radio, theatre, and TV personalities. Since 1960, over 2600 stars have been immortalized on the 1.3 mile east-west stretch on Hollywood Boulevard between Gower Street and La Brea Avenue, as well as a segment of Marshfield Way between Hollywood and La Brea, and a 0.4 mile stretch on Vine Street between Yucca Street and Sunset Boulevard. You can search for the exact location of your favorite entertainer's star on the Walk of Fame Website.
