Holland Park, London

Holland Park is a mixture of open spaces, gardens and woodland spread over 22.5 hectares.

Holland Park is a mixture of open spaces, gardens and woodland spread over 22.5 hectares. Once the private grounds of the Cope Castle (later known as Holland House), it includes a large field dedicated to soccer and cricket, a giant chess set, and tennis courts. The beautiful Holland Park Kyoto garden was designed to celebrate the Japan Festival in London in 1992. In summers, the park is a great place to catch an outdoor opera. The ecology center near the police station provides information about the ecology of the park, offers environmental education programs for schools and arranges various activities for children including nature walks, talks and outdoor fun.
