Waterlow Park has beautiful landscaped grounds, hills, mature trees, lakes, a walled garden, tennis courts, and children's playgrounds. The historic Lauderdale House on the grounds has a cafe and exhibition centre. It was bequeathed by Sir Sidney Waterlow in 1889 to the public as a 'garden for the gardenless'.
