Royal Albert Hall, also known as 'The Nation's Village Hall' hosts concerts, ballets, operas and the BBC annual summer Promenade Concerts. Since its opening in 1871 by the Queen, more than 350 events are held here annually, including performances by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and The Corrs. An impressively huge and wrought-iron domed structure, it is a Grade I listed building that can seat upto 5500 people at a time.
