The Tabiyat Tarihi Muzesi or Natural History Museum has a wide variety of exhibits tracing the evolution of the earth and life since its formation. The ground floor has exhibits on the solar system, while the Paleontology section on the first floor follows the transition from unicellular to multicellular life and from invertebrates to vertebrates. The second floor showcases the mining history of Turkey through geological and mineralogical exhibits and mining tools.
