The 18th century Baroque Jesuit Church in Heidelberg is the main Catholic Church in town. Standing next to the Church of the Holy Spirit, the red sandstone structure with a Neo-Baroque tower has pristine white interiors. Most of the original interiors have been destroyed, with only the altar by Andreas Müller and Ferdinand Keller, and marble pulpit remaining. The crypt has the tomb of Palatine Elector Friedrich the Victorious. The Museum of Sacred Art and Liturgy attached to the church displays liturgical objects.
