Sprawling over 70,000 m2 of lush greenery on a hillside, the Hakone Open Air Museum showcases a great collection of 19th– 20thcentury Japanese and western sculpture in a natural setting. Works by international masters such as Rodin, Miro, and Henry Moore are displayed alongside sculptures by Japanese artists such as Miyawaki, Taro Okamoto, Yasuo Mizui, and Churyo Sato. Of note is the Picasso Pavilion showcasing over 300 paintings, sculpture, ceramics and tapestry. There is also a footbath to rejuvenate your tired feet.
