Rembrandthuis is where the artist Rembrandt Harmensz van Rijn and his wife Saskia van Uylenburg lived between 1639 and 1658 AD. The house, now a museum, has been refurbished to reflect the setting as Rembrandt himself would have experienced it and provides interesting insights into his life and work. It has 260 of his 290 etchings, of which less than 100 are kept on display at a time. Etching techniques are also demonstrated here at the museum.
