The Dublin Castle was formerly the seat of British rule in Ireland till 1922 AD. Dating back to 1204 AD after the Norman invasion of the city, this wonderful example of medieval architecture captures the artistic influence of the time. Magnificent painted ceilings and crystal chandeliers portray the Ireland of one thousand years ago.
