The Albertinum is an art museum on Brühl's Terrace in the historic center of Dresden, displaying paintings and sculptures dating from the Romantic period in the 19th century to contemporary art. Housed in a Renaissance Revival building, it is home to the Galerie Neue Meister or New Masters Gallery and Skulpturensammlung the Sculpture Collection. Highlights of the collection include Rodin's The Thinker, Caspar David Friedrich's Zwei Manner in Betrachtung des Mondes - Two Men Contemplating the Moon, and Gaugin's Parau Api or Two Women of Tahiti.
